Why are these guys selling New Houses and lots at $79,900 ........ its screwing the market for the rest of us ...... Thats a conversation overheard in a Boquete coffee shop by a friend of ours ..... it continued .... People coming can pay more ....... Dont they realise that ...... who are these guys anyway ...... maybe we should have a word with them and get them to put up their prices ......

Dont they realise that ...... who are these guys anyway ...... maybe we should have a word with them and get them to put up their prices ...... geez I sell land for more than this ............. never mind land and a house ........ Our Spanish friend tells me that it could affect the prices he's getting for his lots from the Gringos .................. Someone said they also had apartments for under 50k even a pool and stuff.............
He tells me the conversation went on ....... and some of it we couldnt print here ..... Seems we have ruffled a few feathers ... So to some of the other developers and land speculators ..... an apology ..........
Sorry we didnt realise that it was the Rich coming to Boquete we just thought it was regular people like us, escaping the North American or European winter (and the cost of living) ...... ... Some of the Americans I've met from the North east certainly are ...... I KNOW the Canadians are !! ..... plus people want to get more for their money ....... "how can I live an attractive lifestyle on a pension budget?" .... I'm sure you've asked that question.

We are building a small international community where we will also live ....
A proper community with a village feel to it ........ NOT just a lot .... where people have a house built ..... and then they are on their own ........

A Community with its own centre,village hall,piazza and recreational parks ..... even its own community bus service to Boquete town and David City.
We're looking for like minded people to join us ...... would you like to be one of them .....
If you are 45+ ....... retired or nearly there ...... with a pension or an unearned income ...... looking for an affordable lifestyle .... a way to s-t-r-e-t-c-h your dollar ........ then this could be the place for you ............. or you could even buy and build at these prices now ....... we'll rent it when you are not there ........
