This apartment is on the third floor (French counting, 4th floor American style) of a historic building dating back to at least the 18th century. Huge windows provide views of the most beautiful part of the old town, the river, and Lake Annecy. The Old 11th century Maison-fort known as the Old Parison is directly across the river and the 15th century chateau of the Counts of Geneva fills the landscape.

The apartment includes a living room, bedroom, small kitchen, full bathroom as well as a half bath. Completely renovated in 2003, the apartment is beautifully furnished and perfect for two people.

The bedroom has a king size bed and is divided off from the rest of the apartment by hanging Japanese screens. The living room has a convertible sofa and trundle bed. There are parquet floors throughout the apartment and marble at the entryway. The living room is bright and cheerful and centers around a marble fire place. The kitchen is small but efficient and fully furnished, including microwave and coffeemaker. It shares the windows on the city with a comfortable dining area. This 600 square feet apartment provides a high level of comfort and luxury for the visitor who wants to visit a historic town outside of Paris..

Television, hair dryer, iron and utilities are included, along with weekly cleaning.

Situated on rue Grenette, this apartment is in the heart of the old town, just a ten minute walk from Annecyâ€™s train station, and less than a minute from Lake Annecy, the pretties (and most pristine) of Franceâ€™s Alpine lakes. Summer brings outings on the lakes, bicycling and hiking around the lakes and visits to the Alps. Winter is time for skiing. Two huge ski areas with a wide range runs at La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. They are about 35 minutes by car; about 50 minutes by bus. They have both managed to retain an Alpine Village feel. Chamonix-Mont Blanc are only about an hour away by the autoroute.

Annecy itself provides lovely architecture for the visitor to enjoy while shopping, dining, enjoying concerts, and trying the spectacular tea shops, gourmet bakeries, traiteurs and ice cream shops. A chance to view France at its most charming.

To reserve we charge 20% of the total to a Visa or Mastercard with the remainder due 30 days prior to arrival date. Refund of deposit requires cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival date for amount to be refunded, less a $10 fee.
