We at Icelandic Summer Houses have been active in the travel business for 22 years. We choose the summer houses carefully in light of our quality standards, and we are proud to be able to offer you and your family a summer house/cottage where the owners bid you welcome into "their home".
The summer houses are located in three major locations: Western Iceland, The south of Iceland and a special region in the south, called GrÃmsnes. The houses are listed under the above so please choose your area, view the houses and read about their facilities.
A FEW POINTS ABOUT THE SUMMER HOUSES All the summer houses are privatly owned, and are furnished with care and according to personal taste. Photographs of all the houses are to be found in the area pages listed above. Each house is identified by symbols wich show the facilities on offer in each instance.

TIME OF HIRE AND PRICES Our summer houses are rented out for one week at a time, and thus the price stated are the prices per week. Guests are welcome after 4 p.m. on the first day and must vacate the house no later than 11 a.m. on the final day. In the event of deviation from this rule, the office of Icelandic Summer Houses must be contacted in time to get permission for such an exemption.
