Cumbuco offers miles of deserted beaches, freshwater lagoons and sand dunes that separate the oceanfront from the arid backcountry, one of the worldâ€™s leading cashew-nut growing areas. The temperature is approximately 28 degrees Celsius / 82 degrees Fahrenheit year around, with a constant breeze (Trade wind off the Atlantic), making it very comfortable.

At the fresh water lagoons you find ideal conditions for Kite and Wind Surfing ( high steady winds, with no waves). Lessons are available by English, French and Portuguese speaking instructors. For the more advanced the ocean offers its challenges. ,

Some of the popular lagoons have small restaurants with snacks and refreshments, while others are deserted.

In and around the village you will find a variety of restaurants, offering from local dishes to wood-oven baked Italian Pizza.

The night life in Fortaleza has many options, including the â€œDragao-do-Marâ€�? cultural center, with ongoing exhibits and surrounded by renovated colonial houses (restaurants, bars and nightclubs). There is also the Iracema Beach, full of good restaurants and the â€œBeira-Marâ€�?, an oceanfront avenue with a large nightly crafts-market.

The house has just been renovated, with new Italian-style gourmet kitchen, with solar heated water. There have been many upgrades to the house.

Full range of medical and financial services, as well as upscale shopping is available in Fortaleza ( ca 30 to 40 min by car ), which has a population of approximately 2 million.

Other Information
Discount for extended stays:
5% from second second week on.
Part of week will be proreted. Min charge 2 nights.
Payment 50% upon reservation 50% 30 days proior to arrival.
Payment can be made in USD, Can$, Euro, BP and Sfr.

Cancellations:
If you need to cancel, please contact us immediately and we will cancel your reservation. Deposits and rent monies are refunded in full, provided that the property is re-rented under the same conditions prior to arrival date.
