Encantada, ("Enchantment"), is a fabulous, just completed four bedroom, four bath beachfront luxury villa in the exclusive residential area of Jade Beach, in Akumal, Mexico, 60 miles south of Cancun. This location offers seclusion with very few neighboring homes, yet is still only a short walk down the white sand beach from restaurants, dive facilities, shops, health club and kids clubâ€¦youâ€™ll lack nothing on your Akumal vacation!

Arranged on four levels amid a lush tropical landscape, this Mexico villa sits directly on its own palm-fringed Caribbean beach, tucked between Akumal and South Akumal. The architect-designed home, owned by a renowned painter and sculptor, is itself a sculpture, expressing the dynamic interplay between curved and planar forms. The focus of this Mexico villa is a four level circular tower, penetrated through its center by a shaft of light.

As your Akumal vacation begins, stroll through a tropical paradise of palms and flowers, then open a romantic hand-forged iron entrance gate. Enter a dramatic space of gleaming marble floors, which flow throughout the house. A circular dining room steps down into an elegant sunken living room with 11-foot ceilings. Floor to ceiling glass doors look out on the swimming pool, palms and turquoise sea beyond. The furniture pieces feature exquisite hand-carved woods from Indonesia, China, Mexico and Africa and are complemented by sumptuous fabrics. The fully equipped kitchen opens out to a terrace. The kitchen features marble counters, custom cabinetry with hand-cast pewter hardware and has both indoor and outdoor bars. The bedroom on this level has glass doors to its own terrace and a full bath with a curving sculptural marble shower, both opening to beach views.

The upper level of this Mexico villa also features floors of luxurious marble. The deluxe master bedroom suite has a large private terrace and breathtaking views of the sea and the garden.
