Puerto Aventuras is centrally located in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico's Caribbean coast south of Cancun. The region's highlights are easily accessible by rental car, tour or bus. Day trips are available to the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza and Tulum. You can snorkel in tropical fish filled lagoons at the nearby Xcaret and Xel-Ha eco parks, or take a ferry directly from Puerto Aventuras to Cozumel

Puerto Aventuras has white sand beaches and warm Caribbean waters. The reefs off shore are good for snorkeling, diving, and fishing. Many of the boats in the beautiful marina are available for pleasure and fishing charters, and there is a facility in the marina for swimming with dolphins.
