The grounds, which surround the Villa, are in turn surrounded by a well-established Olive Grove, and affords privacy and tranquillity.
However the village of Trabuco is only a 5-minute drive away, and is well served with restaurants, banks supermarkets, and stores. There is also a daily delivery van, from which you may purchase fresh bread.

Out & About

A fabulous new golf course at Antequera has just opened the first 9 holes, and for golfing enthusiasts is a hidden gem. This can be reached in about 35 minutes. For the more active, the local mountains are a haven for walking, climbing or mountain biking.
The dedicated skier can reach the Magnificent Sierra Nevada ski slopes in about 1 hour 20 minutes; imagine skiing in the morning, and sunbathing in the afternoon!
Antequera is steeped in Moorish history, and offers, not only a golf course, but superb shopping, dining and areas of natural beauty. Of particular interest is the inland saltwater lagoon of Fuente de Piedra where the flamingos breed,
El Torcal which is a natural phenomenon of wind sculptured rock formations, and El Chorro the stunningly beautiful Gaitanes gorge.

Not for the faint hearted perhaps, but there is also a Bull Ring which has witnessed many of Spain's finest Matadors in action. A splendid Spanish restaurant adjoins the Bull Ring, and is well worth a visit.
Granada is an enchanting city, and the Alhambra Palace is everything you have
always imagined, all within an hours drive.
Horse riding is available within 1 mile, and the stables cater for all levels of ability. Full day pony treks are available for the more experienced rider.
