Prime fishing is just offshore, bone fish regularly appear in front of the house. The island of Caye Caulker can be seen not far away and the golf course at Caye Chapel is a short boat trip.

A large â€œtop deckâ€�? has recently been built on the roof to give spectacular views of the lagoon and the ocean, together with the nearby reef and cayes. It is large enough for entertaining and accommodates several tables.

The lot is planted with many colorful tropical plants. It is quiet and private, away from the dust, noise and congestion of the town. The sounds come courtesy of the birds and the surf breaking on the reef. With no public beach access roads for a quarter mile in either direction, you will have the tranquility you are looking for.

A unique feature of the lot is a safe and secure boat canal, in which the ownerâ€™s outboard boat is kept. There is a 7,500 gallon rain cistern providing household water, ample for the dry season. Propane and telephone costs US$60 a month. Property tax US$120 per year. There is a plan to bring power to the south of the island within 1 year which will no doubt increase land values.
