However the apartment is extremely quiet due to its thick 2 meter walls, the height and most of all due to the fact that its windows look out to the back of the square. The view is really beautiful as one only sees the tile rooftops of the other houses and the sky. It has a lot of sunshine (another unusual feature for the old town) staircase in the building is considered one of the most beautiful and spacious in the Old Town.

It is worth to mention that the building faces the fountain-sculpture which is the very symbol of Warsaw â€œthe Mermaidâ€�? and one can often find its faÃ§ade on the Warsaw postcards.

It has a central municipal heating and it is very warm in winter and cool during the summer due to its thick walls.

The place is truly enchanting, especially in winter time for its horse carriages and absence of cars and the sound of the bells from the nearby the pictures of the building and the apartment I iclude some photos of its unique neighbourhood.
