The Old Town Residence is situated in the central part of South Bulgaria, at 100 km from the capital city Sofia, and at 350 km from Istanbul and Black Sea. The Residence is located on the top of Trimontium (The Three Hills) in the architectural reserve The Old Plovdiv protected by UNESCO. Through the city there runs a motorway E-75 connecting Europe and Asia, as at 15 km there is an international airport.

The building was constructed in 1998 in Baroque Renaissance completely conformant to the style and design of the architectural ensembles in the Reserve, dating mainly from 18 c. The Residence has 4 stars and serves as a company headquarters and accommodates conference and business meetings. It contains two restaurants, 6 apartments, a hotel with a separate entrance, panoramic bar, sauna, pool, own kitchen unit and service rooms adjoining it. All rooms are tiled with solid marble and granite, and papered with silky wallpapers, the Hermitage type. There are rich decorative plaster ornaments on the ceiling in Baroque style.

It is surrounded by 1000 m2 yard circled by a solid wall executed with cut granite. There is a summer barbeque room, outdoor bar and an orthodox church St. Holy Mother. Apart from that in the yard there is a barbeque corner with an oven. The yard is wholly tiled with white solid marble from Tassos Island, Greece.

Plovdiv is well known in the whole world for its rich historical past with century-long record, beginning its existence as an ancient Thracian settlement 3000 years ago. Currently it is a modern city with about 500,000 inhabitants, an economic and cultural centre of Bulgaria. International economic, business and cultural exhibitions take place in its fairground all round the year.

Nearby the Residence, in the architectural reserve, there are numerous monuments of design and culture, such as the Ancient Theatre, the Rome Stadium, etc., dating from the second century, AD. On this ground, the architectural reserve has been registered and declared a protected area by UNESCO. At the same time the city is an intersection of major roadways and railway systems and is services also by an international airport. The city is comfortably near to Istanbul, the megapolis of Turkey, and Athens, the capital of Greece.

On the other hand, Plovdiv stands for a real satisfaction with the very good food and beverages. Its restaurants and their cooks spoil your palate with the best products of Bulgarian cuisine with oriental savour. It is also a centre of winemaking region where certain varieties of Thracian wines are selected.
