The beach house is six houses north of Ave Mora on Jaco Beach. Jaco beach is a sandy cove about a mile long, and for most of the year, one can walk into the water for several hundred feet and still be able to stand. When the wind blows, it becomes a surfer beach.
The property consists of a main house, a guest cottage, and a guest suite.
The main house has a king-size bed as well as a fold-out double bed. It has a large bathroom with his and her sinks, a large walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer. The house is an open plan, and all the floors are tiled. It is equipped with 2 A/C units and cable TV with a DVD player. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, including a microwave oven, traditional stove, blender, toaster, and refrigerator-freezer. The dining table will seat 10. A CD/stereo is also available.
The living room has a sectional couch and square coffee table. Outside, there is a covered patio with leather rocking chairs, and like the other rooms, has a ceiling fan.
The guest cottage has 2 queen-size beds, a walk-in shower, a kitchenette with refrigerator freezer, a dinette table, chairs, and a sofa. It also has A/C, an overhead fan, and cable TV. Outside, there is a covered patio with rocking chairs.
The guest suite has a queen bed and a shower bathroom, cable TV, A/C, and an overhead fan.
The town of Jaco parallels the beach, and is half a block in from it. The town has many different restaurants, bars, and clubs, as well as two supermarkets and several banks. In town, one can go fishing (in-shore and off-shore, good all year round), diving, horse back riding, off roading, or go on a "Canopy Tour" where the sights include monkeys, macaws and other forest life.
